In an unusual case, an 84-year-old foster mother has confessed to having sex with an 11-year-old boy who was in her care.
The old Oregon lady, named Georgie Audean Buoy, confessed to prosecutors and pleaded guilty to accusations of sex abuse. Due to her age, she will only serve 36 months in prison.
According to reports, Buoy was married at the time she decided to have relations with the boy in 2004. At the time, her husband had failing health and was even on oxygen. Since that time her husband passed away.
Buoy's age likely puts her at the top of the list of Oregon's oldest sex offenders. Her age, along with lack of prior criminal history, also resulted in her reduced sentence.
According to Leslie Wolf, chief deputy district attorney, "We also talked to the prison and spoke about what happens, where do folks like this go in your prison system," She continued, "A lot depends on how they are physically and what their mental ability is."
As for the boy in the case, who is now 13, the judge in the case, Circuit Judge John Kelly, stated, "This kid suffered damage."
After she is done serving her sentence, Buoy will have to register as an offender. According to other reports, she will also have to pay nearly $13,000 to the victim in this case.

Agreed, there seems to be inequality in societal norms when its a woman exploiting a child minor.
This is just gross on so many levels. Hopefully the kid can manage to cope with this as he gets older.
