Mohammed the teddy bear.

I honestly don't see the reason to call for the ending of a life because a bunch of kids named their class teddy bear after the revered prophet. It wasn't a blatant attempt at attacking Islam. Doesn't the Quran call for peace and to only kill in self defense? I don't see naming a teddy bear after a revered prophet as insulting or as any justification for having someone executed. Some of these Sudanese Muslims Need to read their Qur'an and Sunnah.

I agree. It seems rather ridiculous, to be honest.

Oh my the Muslims want to kill someone again, what an astonishing surprise.
The writer of this commentary is incorrect on two points that I am aware of:
1) The Teddy bear was not named after the Prophet but after one of the most popular children in the class and
2) the Holy Koran and the chains of commentaries on the Prophet's words do command those loyal to Allah to kill anyone who does not convert to Isalm after given a chance to. There are a bunch of other reasons to kill people stated in the writings of Islam, self protection has nothing to do with most of them.
