Hi everyone, JB here and ever since the response on my amway and quixtar posts I've decided to make this a bigger issue seeing as there are a lot of people who ignore facts and believe hype.
This next story is about PrePaid Legal and whether or not it is what they say they are. Besides all of the consumer complaints, FTC sanctions, and basically being blackballed by any legit consumer agency in this country they sound great!
If you aren't familiar with PrePaid Legal they claim to offer a "legal service" to help you with any issues that may come up. I came across them about 3 years ago when I was stationed at Fort Carson,CO. They gave me the typical sales pitch and showed me the DVD and I was less than impressed but then again I am a bit bias because I am suspicious of any MLM anyways. Most MLM's make sure you never make any real money and always keep the top guys rich. My advice to anyone searching for a legit business opportunity is to stay away from Prepaid Legal. I had bad experiences with them and I've never really heard anything good about them and considering all of the complaints they have received it doesn't seem like a safe bet.

You are exactly right! I don't like MLMs and I run the other way when confronted. The concept is okay but only the big boys get rich and the members end up spinning their wheels. Thanks for the 'heads up.'
I believe in taking responsibility. If a business does not work for me but it works for someone else, is it the business?
Unfortunately, we are NOW creatures. So if we go out and share an idea and get shot down we quit, the idea is no good.
How many shots did Michael Jordon miss in his careeer? Did he quit?
How many ventures did Donald Trump not get? Did he quit?
Don't get me wrong, I have tried several MLM ventures in my lifetime. I have made less than I spent. But, in all fairness, I am not sure it was the MLM.
Not everyone you approach is going to get in. Some will get in and do nothing (like me). Other's will do as they are taught and have success.
Bottom line, if it is to be, it is up to me!
